Extended Christmas Returns
For orders placed between 1st December 2024 and 20th December 2024. We will accept returns for items returned to us in an unused resaleable condition up to and including Tuesday 14th January 2025. This excludes customised items.

Placing an Order
We may accept orders from a number of different methods;
- Online Orders - You may place your order online via our website blueline-kit.co.uk
- Phone Orders - You may place your order by Phone on 01293 402025 9 am until 4 pm Monday to Friday. Please note that we are closed at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Customised Items
For orders of personalised/customised items such as epaulettes, you should allow up to 7 working days for dispatch from receipt of your order, we treat all orders as urgent and will dispatch as soon as possible. The delivery option selected at the time of placing the order refers to the delivery service when the order is dispatched, you will be updated when the order is dispatched so you will know when to expect your delivery.
Payments
We accept the following methods of payment:
- Credit or Debit Card - We accept all major credit and debit cards. Mastercard, Visa, Solo, Maestro and Visa Electron. We do not accept American Express.
- PayPal - (Please note that goods will only be dispatched to a verified PayPal address supplied with the PayPal payment with the only exception being an Official Police and Military address). Payments made from unconfirmed addresses will be refunded.
Unless previously agreed all goods must be paid for in full before your order will be dispatched. Every credit or debit card transaction must be submitted to a full security check which involves matching the data supplied with your order to the data held on file with your bank (as stated on your bank statement) and if the data does not match the transaction will be declined. Please note that for orders over £150 we may insist that the goods also be delivered to the registered address for purposes of fraud prevention.
Police Forces, Councils and Government Bodies automatically qualify for a 30 Day Credit Account. All others must make a formal request and complete our Credit Account Application which contains separate Terms & Conditions.
Acceptance of Orders
All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances. We may also close your account for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
By making an offer to purchase, you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions of Trading. If you do not accept our Terms you should not place an order. If there is anything you do not understand please feel free to contact us.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it, acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when we dispatch the products ordered.
Please note that when placing your order online an acknowledgement will be sent to you confirming that we have received your order for processing but this does not constitute acceptance of your order.
Delivery
We continually monitor our delivery services in order to bring you the fastest most efficient service at the most competitive prices; as such our delivery services and prices are subject to change but can always be viewed online via the link to ‘Our Delivery Prices’.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel if no one is at the address when the delivery arrives a card will be left with details of how to arrange a new delivery or collection.
Unless previously agreed with Niton your delivery will not be left with a neighbour or left safe. Please note that such requests are made entirely at your own risk as we cannot accept any liability for items reported as lost, stolen or damaged if you choose to do so.
Niton will not be responsible for extra delivery charges resulting from non-deliveries, if the shipping agent is unable to complete your delivery and goods are returned to Niton the fee for deliveries Returned to Niton is up to £15.50, dependant on the value, weight and delivery method used (this amount will be deducted from the value of goods returned or charged to your account before goods are re-dispatched).
We reserve the right to insist that all deliveries are signed for at the registered billing address by a person aged over 18.
Next Day Delivery
- Our 'Next Day' delivery services exclude weekends and Bank Holidays. If you do not specify one of our Timed Delivery Services your delivery will be attempted between 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday Only.
- If you require a delivery at the weekend then please select either the ‘Saturday Delivery' or 'Sunday Delivery'.
- If you are not at the delivery address when the courier attempts your delivery a calling card will be left providing you with contact details and instructions, please respond to this card upon receipt.
- It is the customer´s responsibility to inform Niton of non-delivery within 24 hours of receiving your order shipping/order confirmation. Our Customer Services Team will be happy to liaise with the couriers on your behalf in order to ensure the successful delivery of your order.
- In the unlikely event the courier fails to make reasonable attempts to deliver a Timed service on schedule, we reserve the right to refund only the difference between the Timed service selected and a standard service.
- All changes to delivery addresses will be charged a re-direction fee of up to £15.50 depending on weight, value and delivery method. Requests for delivery re-directions must be made in writing directly to Niton for approval.
Returns And Order Cancellation
You also have a statutory right to return or cancel your purchase. If you wish to cancel you must tell us in writing by fax, email, or telephone, in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation number, which you keep a note of, and also note on the return paperwork. You should keep evidence of having shipped your return to us, such as a certificate of posting. You must take reasonable care of the product and you must return the product to us (at your own risk and cost) within 14 days of dispatch (7 days for Sale or Clearance Items). All goods remain your property until they are received by our Returns Department.
Under the current circumstances, all returns are quarantined upon arrival at Niton House in order to reduce the risk of COVID transmission. This means that they remain in a secure area of our goods in the department and are then processed in the usual manner for refund or replacement after 4 calendar days.
The product must be returned unused (except to the extent use was reasonably necessary to examine the product) and with the original packaging and Sales Receipt with the reverse section completed with the Returns Information. We will refund the purchase price of the product less the delivery charges.
The following products are excluded from this legal right to cancel: audio/video recordings, DVDs or computer software that you have taken out of the sealed packaging in which they were delivered to you; products made or customised to your own specification, books and any other products that by reason of their nature cannot be returned such as earpieces for hygiene reasons.
Items purchased from our Trade Counter Facility must be returned within 14 days of purchase together with the Sales Receipt and may be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. Items will not be accepted without proof of purchase.
Requests to return items that were purchased via Official Purchase Order are subject to approval.
WaitList Orders
Some products that are currently out of stock are available to order using our PreOrder service. We will advise you if this option is available when you place your order.
PreOrder means you can order a product immediately and we will dispatch it to you if it comes back into stock within the next 180 days. In order to reserve stock PreOrders will be charged to your debit/credit card or PayPal account, you can cancel your order and request a refund at any point up until dispatch. When new stock arrives, the customers who ordered first will receive their products first. An email will be sent to you when your order has been dispatched to advise you to expect your delivery.
Product Information
We have taken reasonable steps to display as accurately as possible the colours and other detailing of our products. However, the actual colours and detailing you to see onscreen will depend on the equipment you use to view the products. Any information regarding sizing of products is included as a guide only. If you are in any doubt as to the size of any product you require, we recommend that you contact us prior to placing an order.
Age-Restricted Products
If you wish to order a product where a minimum age requirement is indicated, you must confirm that you are of the required age before you will be able to proceed with the order. We reserve the right not to supply any age-restricted product where we have any concern that you are below the relevant age. For certain age-restricted products, only certain specified payment methods may be allowed.

Faulty Or Damaged Products
Faulty Upon Receipt
Upon receipt of your order if you have a faulty or damaged product please contact our Customer Service representatives within 48hrs to report the problem and obtain instructions on how to proceed.
Please ensure that you retain all packaging materials and mark the courier signing record with any damage identified.
We will issue you with a Pre-Paid ‘Collect Plus’ Label and upon receipt of the goods will exchange any item or refund the purchase price.
Where an item is being returned due to a fault or dispatch error the return label will be issued without charge. In such cases, Niton reserves the right to debit charges for parcels returned to us that do not conform to the stated values or dimensions, are not used in conjunction with the RMA against which they have been issued, or have been returned as faulty or due to dispatch error which is subsequently not found to be the case.
Only in exceptional circumstances, after prior authorisation and upon provision of a receipt, will Niton agree to issue a refund for postage charges incurred by you in the return of faulty items.
Faulty Within 6 Months Of Purchase
We will warranty any product which develops a fault within a period of 6 months from delivery (other than due to normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions or misuse) Niton will replace the product with the same product wherever possible, or a similar product subject to stock availability.
We will issue you with a Pre-Paid ‘Collect Plus’ Label and upon receipt of the goods will exchange any item or refund the purchase price.

Faulty In Excess Of 6 Months Of Purchase
Once six months from the date of purchase have passed you will be referred to the Manufacturers warranty. Your return will be accepted for inspection only and at your own risk and cost. We do not guarantee to offer any kind of refund or replacement.
Many of our customers have recommended the ‘Collect Plus’ returns service as a fast, reliable and affordable method of sending back any unwanted items.
Please contact our sales team to gain your RMA and ask for further information on the Collect Plus service and link to the booking form.
Upon receipt of your return, we will contact the manufacturer and take their advice as to how to proceed. Once we have a response from the manufacturer we will contact you. Please note that any decision or offer made at this stage is final.
In all circumstances some products may need to be referred to the manufacturer, therefore you must allow 30 days from our receipt of your product for your refund to be processed or a replacement product to be dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund/replacement product and to recover the cost of the return delivery from you in the event that the product is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear.
Nothing in this section or elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions or in our returns policy affects your statutory legal rights.
Our Liability
We will not be liable to you where the performance of any of our obligations is prevented or restricted by any circumstance or cause beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for the use you make of the products you order. To the extent not prohibited by law, we accept no liability for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (which includes loss of profits, contracts, goodwill, opportunity and other similar losses).
We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and responsibility for fraudulent misrepresentation and any other liability that cannot, under English law, be excluded.
Security And Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of any information given to us in order for us to process your order. We will not sell or pass your details to third party organizations except for the purpose or processing your order.

General
By using our service you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by our Terms and Conditions of Trading and that any information you provide is accurate and complete. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and us and can only be amended with our consent.
We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time without prior notice, provided that any such change will not affect any purchases you have made before the change is implemented. Your continued use of our services shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.
All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances. We may also close your account for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
Failure by us to enforce a right does not result in a waiver of such right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms and Conditions.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Terms and Conditions shall be unaffected and shall remain in force.
No term of any contract subject to these Terms and Conditions shall be enforceable by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any person not a party to such contract.
You and we agree that English law applies to these Terms and Conditions and that any dispute between us arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions will only be dealt with by the English courts, unless you are resident in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there. We are required by law to inform you that purchases can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
